Foundation Waterproofing – Oakland Gardens, NY

At White Marble Construction Inc., we recently completed a comprehensive foundation waterproofing ‎project at a residential home in Oakland Gardens, NY. The goal was to protect the property’s ‎foundation from future water damage and restore long-term structural integrity.‎

This project required expert excavation, layered waterproofing techniques, and professional-grade ‎materials to guarantee a dry, stable, and secure foundation.‎

Work includes:‎
Deep Excavation:‎
Excavated over 5 feet around the foundation perimeter to access all vulnerable areas.‎
Crack Repair:‎
Repaired all visible and potential cracks using a durable cement and sand mix combined with ‎waterproofing material.‎
Wire Mesh Installation:‎
Installed galvanized wire mesh for added structural support and reinforcement.‎
Stucco Application:‎
Applied a smooth layer of stucco over the wire mesh, enhancing protection and sealing the foundation ‎wall.‎
Primary Waterproofing Membrane:‎
Sealed the wall with a high-grade waterproofing membrane, designed to withstand long-term ‎exposure to moisture.‎
Secondary Waterproofing Layer:‎
Applied an additional waterproof barrier for extra redundancy and peace of mind.‎
Soil Repacking:‎
Repacked and compacted the soil in multiple layers to maintain ground stability and prevent shifting.‎
Concrete Slab Installation:‎
Poured a 2-foot concrete slab at the base of the foundation for added strength and load-bearing ‎support.‎
Final Waterproofing Barrier:‎
Applied one last protective layer before final backfill, ensuring no future water intrusion.‎
